Welcome to the South-West Dearborn Heights Baseball League (SWDHBL) website!
We're glad you've stopped by and hope you find our website informative. The SWDHBL was founded in 1959 and chartered in 1963 and served the residents of Dearborn Heights and the Westwood School District until 1994, when the league was opened to all kids from surrounding communities who wished to join. The sole purpose of the SouthWest Dearborn Heights Baseball League is the betterment of the youth in our community. Our motto is "For the Kids." 2008 Registration Information
Late registration is officially over but, it's still not to late to get on a team. But you must act quickly! If interested, download a registration form and fill it out. Then call one of the board members to make arrangements to turn it in along with your registration fee of $75.
Do it today to secure your spot!

Late registration fee is $75 for all levels:

T-Ball (ages 4-6*)
Midget (ages 7-10*)
Minor (ages 11-15*)

*ages are as of May 1, 2008

Fields
All games are played at Thorne Elementary School. We have three fields available for our use; all are located behind (East side of) the school:

Diamond 1: Closest to Annapolis Road
Diamond 2: The middle diamond
Diamond 3: The Southern-most diamond (or furthest from Annapolis Road)

Picture Day this Saturday!!
Saturday, June 7th is picture day. Come in your uniform looking your best. Coaches should have handed out your team's picture schedule and pricing envelopes. Choose your picture selections before arriving and place your payment in the envelope. A make-up day, yet to be determined, will be set up for those who cannot make it June 7th.
